The Pineridge neighbourhood, in the northeastern end of Calgary, Alberta, Canada, was part of the building boom that the city experienced during the 1970s. This neighbourhood was developed in 1974 on land that was previously part of the prairie landscape. It has the advantage of being close to Calgary’s industrial and commercial areas along with the Trans Canada Highway.

The northern border is 32nd Ave NE, the west is framed by 52nd St NE and the southern edge is the Trans Canada Highway, or Route 1. The east is bordered by 68th St NE. Pineridge s home to the Village Square Leisure Centre and the area is criss-crossed by hiking pathways encouraging residents to enjoy the outdoors.

About 85 percent of the housing is of the single family variety, the rest is condos and apartments. About 32 percent of the homes are in the rental pool. The nearest LRT station is in neighbouring Rundle, but a number of Calgary Transit bus routes service the area.

Schools include Douglas Harkness Elementary, Pineridge Community, Clarence Sansome Junior High and Lester B Pearson High School, all part of the Calgary Public Schools. St. Patrick Elementary is also available. Sunridge Mall is about a mile west.
