Residents of the Harvest Hills neighbourhood in Calgary, Alberta, Canada have the Harvest Hills Golf Course at their doorstep. The area is in the north eastern sector of the city and is also home to its own Harvest Hills Lake. Country Hills Blvd NE frames the northern end, the east is taken up by the golf course and lightly populated land and the southern edge is 96th Ave NE.  Harvest Hills Blvd N gives the neighbourhood a unique shape as it curves along the western edge.

Real estate in Harvest Hills is nicely located near major roadways as well as the Calgary International Airport. There are also numerous shopping venues, restaurants, as well as a movie theater nearby.

There is a great selection of recreational opportunities available in this popular family community: Harvest Hills Lake offers 18-acres of water for boating in the summer and skating in the winter. Residents can also walk and cycle on the pathway system that runs east-west through the community.

Other entertainment pursuits Harvest Hills residents can enjoy consist of the West Nose Creek, Nose Creek, and Cardel Place Recreation Center. The Cardel Place Rec Center features three gymnasiums, two skating rinks a climbing wall, an aquatic complex, and a workout area. In addition, the Center also encompasses the Calgary Public Library. Nearby, in Panorama, there are the Reverend George McDougall Cairn, two historical sites and the John A. Lewis Rock Quarry.

Harvest Hills Lake, along with Harvest Hills Park, is in the center of the development. The golf course takes up most of the northeast corner. Just over 94 percent of the properties are single family homes, with the rest being condos and apartments. Less than five percent of the housing is in the rental pool. Founded in 1990, the development is part of Ward 3 for City of Calgary City Council representation.

The closest schools are Ascension of Our Lord Elementary/Middle School and Notre Dame High School, to the north. The Calgary International Airport is less than a mile southeast, along with the Deerfoot Mall along Route 2.
