The Falconridge neighbourhood in the north eastern section of Calgary, Alberta, Canada was developed in 1979. The land became part of the City of Calgary in 1961 when city fathers annexed what was then part of the Municipal District of Rocky View. The northern border is 64th Ave NE, the east is 68th St NE and the southern edge is McKnight Blvd NE. Falconridge Blvd NE brings up the west as it curves to the east from north to south, giving the neighbourhood a distinctive shape.

The area is part of Ward 5 as far as representation in City Council.   All but about six percent of the housing is of the single family variety, the rest being apartments or condominiums. About 33 percent of available properties are rentals.

The area is rich in schools including Falconridge Elementary, O.S. Geiger Elementary, Grant MacEwan Elementary and Terry Fox Junior High, all part of the Calgary Public School System. Catholic Schools include John Paul II Elementary, Bishop McNally Senior High and John XXIII Elementary/Junior High. Sunridge Mall is only a few blocks south.
