Bowness Real Estate

Bowness is a residential neighbourhood in the west of our city, but is considered to be part of the northwest quadrant. It was it's own town until 1963 when it became part of the overall city. The borders of the community consist of 16th Avenue, the Bow River, and the Stoney Trail. The area is represented by Ward 1 in city council chambers.

There is a popular park within the community that is used by residents of the entire city, particularly during the summer months. It's part of the cities pedestrian pathway network that offers residents great walking paths throughout the year.

Demographically the community of Bowness has about 11,500 area residents. The average income in the neighbourhood is just below the city average, making it an affordable area to buy real estate. Almost half of all property units in the community are occupied by a renter.
